New rent

Which index do I type?

The CBS publishes the consumer price index on the 15th of each month, for the month before.

Known index (מדד ידוע)The last index already published on a given date. Most leases use this one.
Index for the month (מדד בגין)The index of the month itself. It is published only on the 15th of the next month.
10 MarchThe known index is January's.
20 MarchThe known index is February's.

Find both values with the official calculator of the Central Bureau of Statistics. Pick "consumer price index" and the dates, and it shows the index for each date.
